5ERGONOMIC GARDEN SET  May 24, 2009
I PURCHASED THIS SET ABOUT A YEAR OR SO AGO, AND EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THESE TOOLS PERFORMS VERY, VERY WELL. MY PURCHASE WAS MAINLY FOR MY MOTHER; HOWEVER, I WANTED THEM FOR MY USE, AS WELL. WE BOTH WORK A LOT IN THE YARD. THESE TOOLS MAKE GARDENING MUCH EASIER AS THEY ARE COMFORTABLE TO HOLD, AND VERY LIGHT WEIGHT (BUT S-T-R-O-N-G), AND EASY TO KEEP TRACK OF. HOWEVER, MOM LEFT TWO OF THEM IN THE YARD, AND SOMEONE WALKED OFF WITH THEM. RECENTLY, I PURCHASED ANOTHER SET, AND I KEEP A CLOSE EYE ON THEM. THEY ALSO COME WITH VERY THIN DURABLE PLASTIC CORDS ON THE END OF THE HANDLES. MOST FOLKS PROBABLY CUT THESE OFF; HOWEVER, THEY DO NOT GET IN THE WAY AT ALL. I FIND THEM VERY USEFUL, AS THEY MAKE IT EASIER TO CARRY ALL OF THEM WITH ONE FINGER, AND THIS LETS ME HANG THEM IN OUR WORK HOUSE OUT BACK. I WILL NOT BE BUYING ANY OTHER BRAND OF TOOLS IN THE FUTURE. I'M COMPLETELY SOLD ON THIS BRAND.

5Great product  May 05, 2009
Great design, you can work all day and not hurt you hands. It does take a little time to re-train you hands, but it is clearly better. Better leverage also. Regular garden tools seem so primitive when you get used to these.

The blade and the handle are one piece of metal so no problems with handles coming loose or breaking.

The only bad thing I can say is they take up more room in a toolbox because of the curved handles. But well worth the space.

I have the whole set of hand tools, plus 2 shovels and a pitchfork. All great. Truly, the next step in garden tools.

5My Son Wanted to Continue Weeding!  Dec 03, 2008
I picked these up for my landscaping company, to get a set of small handheld tools to assist with planting tasks.

I've been a fan of Radius Garden's NRG-PRO tools, and decided these went along nicely with that same theme. Of course, to really be useful they have to do their job well, and not just look pretty. These tools succeed, and have shown no signs of wear or tear despite digging into both cultivated soil and uncultivated meadow areas.

Perhaps the best statement about them is that, after six hours of use a day, you don't notice any problems. They really act as extensions of your hands. While sometimes clawing at the dirt with your fingers might be needed, these make it easier and don't get in the way.

When I wanted to move my son to another job to make sure he didn't get bored or sore, he said he preferred to stick with pulling invasive weeds out of the flower bed, using the weeder, large trowel, and the claw. I'm fairly sure that getting a teenager to want to weed is considered a miracle... =)

4handy tool set  Nov 18, 2008
I mostly do container gardening so this little tool set is a good size to use. The tools are comfortable to hold and very lightweight. Easy to clean too. They appear to be sturdy and well made.
